Choose your image provider
Set the provider in AI AutoBlogger → API Settings → Image Generation API. Each article gets one featured image; in-body images are optional and can be configured per provider.

DALL·E 3 setup
Uses your existing OpenAI API key. No extra setup — just select DALL·E 3 as the provider. Pick Standard for $0.04/image (good for blog visuals) or HD for $0.08 (sharper detail, larger file). 1024×1024 is the safe default; widescreen 1792×1024 looks great as a featured image.
Unsplash setup
Free, but requires an API key. Sign up at unsplash.com/developers, create an Application, copy the Access Key, paste into AutoBlogger’s Unsplash field. Unsplash returns the closest-matching real photo to the article’s keywords. Photos are CC0 — credit not required, but the plugin auto-attributes anyway (recommended for good karma).
Imagine.art setup
Sign up at imagine.art, generate an API token from your dashboard, paste it in. Pick a style preset (e.g. photorealistic, anime, 3d) — that becomes the default style for every generated image.
MonsterAPI setup
Cheapest paid provider. Sign up at monsterapi.ai, create an API key, paste it into AutoBlogger. SDXL-based — best for photorealism and product shots. Generation can take 8–15 seconds (longer than DALL·E), so AutoPilot job times will be slightly higher.
Featured image vs in-body images
Every article gets a featured image automatically. In-body images (one between major sections) can be enabled in API Settings → Generation → In-body images. They roughly double image cost but significantly improve dwell time and visual scannability.
💡 Mix providers for cost. Use Unsplash for high-volume blogs, DALL·E 3 only for flagship pieces. Switch between articles by manually overriding the provider in the Manual Generation form.
