Trial & Refund Policy

7-day free trial — cancel anytime in the trial window for zero charge.

Last updated: 8 May 2026

In Plain English

Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start, but you are not charged until day 7. Cancel anytime during the trial — through your Freemius account or by emailing support@wpaiautoblogger.com — and you pay nothing. If the trial converts, you’re charged once for the plan you selected — Single / Triple / Agency include 1 year of free updates and support, with optional renewal at ~30% to stay current; Unlimited is lifetime. Refund requests after the trial converts are handled by Freemius (our payment processor and Merchant of Record). OpenAI API costs and image-provider costs are billed directly by those providers and are not refundable through us.

1. The 7-day free trial

Every paid plan (Single, Triple, Agency, or Unlimited) begins with a 7-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to every Pro feature — no feature gating, no usage caps, no watermarks.

To start the trial you must provide a valid payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal). Your card is authorised but not charged until the end of the 7-day window. If you cancel before the window ends, the authorisation is released and no money changes hands.

The 7-day window starts at the moment your trial is activated through Freemius (you’ll receive a confirmation email with the exact start time and end time). At the end of the window the trial automatically converts to the paid plan you selected — a one-time charge for the license. Single / Triple / Agency licenses include 1 year of free updates and support; afterward you may optionally renew at ~30% of the original price ($6 / $15 / $60 per year) to keep receiving updates. The Unlimited plan is lifetime — no renewal, ever. The plugin keeps working forever on your licensed domain(s) regardless of whether you renew.

2. How to cancel during the trial

You have two ways to cancel:

  • Self-service (recommended): log in to your Freemius account → click the plugin → click Cancel trial. Cancellation is immediate, your card is never charged, and the license is released from your activated domain(s).
  • By email: send a one-line cancellation request to support@wpaiautoblogger.com from the email address you used to start the trial. We’ll process the cancellation manually within one business day. To be safe, send the email at least 24 hours before your trial ends.

You don’t need to provide a reason. We’d like to know what didn’t work for you — it helps us improve the product — but it’s never a condition of cancellation.

3. After the trial converts to a paid plan

Once your card is charged at the end of the trial, you own the license for the plan you selected. Single / Triple / Agency licenses include 1 year of free updates and support; the optional annual renewal (~30% of the original price — $6, $15, $60 respectively) keeps you on the latest version after year 1. The Unlimited plan is lifetime with no renewal. The plugin keeps working forever on your licensed domain(s) regardless of renewal status — non-renewal just stops new updates and support.

Refund requests after the trial converts are handled by Freemius, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Their refund policy and the exact procedure are documented at freemius.com/refunds-policy. As a courtesy you can also email us at support@wpaiautoblogger.com and we’ll forward the request — but the refund decision rests with Freemius.

The trial period exists specifically so you don’t need to rely on a post-purchase refund. If MrNiche Autoblogger Pro isn’t right for you, the cheapest moment to find out — for everyone — is during the trial window. We strongly recommend testing the features you care about (Manual Posting, AutoPilot, Writing Styles, image generation) inside the 7 days.

4. What is NOT refundable

a) OpenAI API costs

The Plugin uses your own OpenAI API key — those costs are billed directly by OpenAI to your OpenAI account. We never see, hold, or process those funds. If you have a dispute about an API charge, you must raise it with OpenAI through their support channels. We’re happy to help you investigate the source of unexpected token usage if you suspect a Plugin bug.

b) Image-provider costs (Imagine.art / MonsterAPI / etc.)

Same principle as OpenAI — those costs go directly to the third-party provider on your own account. Disputes go to that provider.

c) Annual renewals

Optional annual renewals (Single $6/yr, Triple $15/yr, Agency $60/yr) are non-refundable once charged. You can prevent future renewals at any time by disabling auto-renew in your Freemius account before the renewal date. If you forgot to disable auto-renew and were charged within the last 48 hours, contact us — we’ll forward a courtesy refund request to Freemius and cancel the auto-renew. We do this once per customer.

d) Cancellations after the trial converts

Once you’re past the 7-day trial window and your card has been charged for the initial license, refunds become Freemius’s call (see Section 3). We will support reasonable refund requests where the Plugin has demonstrably failed to function as documented and we have not been able to resolve the issue through support — but most “this is broken” cases turn out to be fixable through a support ticket, and a working plugin is usually what you actually wanted.

5. Merchant of Record

All payments for MrNiche Autoblogger Pro are processed by Freemius Inc., acting as the seller of record. This means your purchase receipt, invoice, billing-statement descriptor, VAT/sales-tax handling, and any chargeback or dispute will go through Freemius rather than directly through AI Autoblogger LLC.

Practical implications: your bank statement will show “Freemius” or “FS *AI Autoblogger” rather than our entity name. Tax invoices for EU/UK customers (with VAT line items) come from Freemius. Your billing address, payment method, and account-level data are stored on Freemius’s servers, governed by their privacy policy and terms. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-processor disclosure.

6. Upgrading your plan

If you bought one tier and want to move up (e.g. Single → Triple), you can upgrade through your Freemius account. Freemius applies your original purchase as a credit toward the higher plan — you only pay the difference. This is not a refund-and-rebuy; your renewal date and entitlements carry forward.

7. Chargebacks & payment disputes

Please contact us first. The trial window exists specifically so you don’t need to escalate to your bank or card issuer — if MrNiche Autoblogger Pro isn’t right for you, cancel the trial and you owe nothing. After the trial converts, Freemius will assess refund requests under their policy. Chargebacks are expensive (a non-refundable fee per dispute, regardless of outcome) so we treat them as a last resort.

If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us or Freemius, we will: (a) revoke the license immediately, (b) provide our records to the payment processor, and (c) decline to do business with the same email/payment account in the future. None of those steps are personal — they’re standard merchant practice.

8. EU / UK statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days under the Consumer Rights Directive / Consumer Contracts Regulations. Our 7-day trial is offered in addition to, not in place of, those rights. Note that for digital content (which includes our Plugin) the statutory right of withdrawal is normally lost once you download the product and consent to immediate supply. By starting the trial and downloading the Plugin you agree that the Plugin is delivered immediately and consent to immediate supply, but the trial period in Section 1 still applies regardless.

9. The free version (MrNiche Autoblogger AI)

The free version of our plugin distributed via WordPress.org under the name MrNiche Autoblogger AI is free. There is no trial, no payment, and nothing to refund. If you uninstall it, that’s the end of the relationship.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Trial & Refund Policy as our practices evolve. Any change applies to new purchases made after the change is published; existing customers retain the policy that was in effect at the time of their purchase, mirroring the grandfather clause in Section 3 of our Terms of Service. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
